Prof. Desislava Mincheva (b. 1956, Sofia) is a prominent Bulgarian painter and a Professor of Drawing at the National Academy of Arts (NAA) in Sofia. She graduated from the Academy in 1981 under the renowned Acad. Svetlin Rusev.

Career Highlights:

• Exhibitions: She has held dozens of solo exhibitions both in Bulgaria and internationally, including showcases in Paris, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Skopje, and Finland. Her work has also been featured at the Autumn Salon in the Grand Palais (Paris) and Art-Expo (New York).

• Awards: Awarded the Gold Medal for Drawing by the "Agazzi" Foundation (Italy, 2002).

• Collections: Her paintings are part of the permanent collections of the National Fine Arts Gallery, the Sofia City Art Gallery, and regional museums across Bulgaria. Internationally, her works are held in private and public collections in France, Belgium, the UK, the USA, and the prestigious collection of Prof. Dr. Peter Ludwig in Aachen, Germany.
