Ivo Petrov is born May 31, 1971 in Pleven. In 1990 he graduated the School of Applied Arts in Tryavna, and after that specialty painting at Veliko Tarnovo University “St. St. Cyril and Methodius “. He lives and works in Pleven. Together with his wife, Nina Petrova, have been realized numerous exhibitions in the country and in Spain and France.

Ivo Petrov works in the sphere of figural painting. Strongly influenced by the style of the secession, typical of the early 20th century, he adds to his paintings a specific retro flavor.
