Lilyana Ruseva

She was born on April 6, 1932, in Sofia. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in Illustration under Prof. Ilya Beshkov. She became a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists in 1963. She was the wife of the artist Svetlin Rusev.

Her works are held in the collections of the National Art Gallery, the Sofia City Art Gallery, and regional art galleries across the country. In 1979, she was awarded the title "Honored Artist," and in 1982, she received the Order of Saints Cyril and Methodius, 1st Class.

She died on May 31, 2009.
