Yuri Bukov

Yuri Bukov was born on March 7, 1947 in the town of Pleven. There are over 30 exhibitions at home and abroad. His paintings are owned by a number of collectors in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, USA and Japan.

In 1996 he became a laureate of the prestigious “Sword Romfea” the eponymous gallery Plovdiv. Television devotes his documentary “Passion and woes Yuri Bukov.”

In 2005 won the second national competition “Gallery TODOROFF”, and his oil canvas “Cheers” is printed on the label of a special batch of red wines from famous wine cellar. He won the award for painting from the third biennial of small forms in Pleven in 2006

In May 2006, visit the National Center for Contemporary Art in Sofia with an impressive display of 120 oil paintings, dedicating his parents and the 100th anniversary of the birth of his professor Nenko Balkanski.
